Welcome
Welcome to NorthReach Healthcare. Our mission is to provide high-quality health care with compassion to all children and families in our community. Each of our pediatricians has trained in nationally renowned medical centers and is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. We are always accepting new patients.
Primary Care
At NorthReach Pediatrics, we are always aware that our young patients are children first. Our doctors and nurses are trained to care for the unique health care needs of you and your child. We provide not only expert medical care but emotional support as well, through all phases of your child's life from birth to age 22. Giving your child the best primary care is our most important goal. We will work with you to help your child grow healthy and strong. When your child needs a doctor for any reason for example: wellness exams and immunizations, treatment for illnesses, health and safety education, sports physicals and child advocacy - we are here for you. One of our pediatricians is available to help you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Newborn & Infant Care
The birth of your child is an important time, and we take special care to make sure your little one is healthy. We care for every aspect of your child's health starting with a complete evaluation the day he or she is born.
You will visit us more often during the first year of your baby's life than at any other time. At each well child check we will do a complete physical to see how your baby is doing. Growth, immunizations, medications, and any problems or illnesses will be addressed. We will also answer any concerns you may have and educate you on the many aspects of parenting, health and safety.
Early & Middle Childhood Care
As your child continues to grow, we stress the importance of well check-ups to monitor overall health and development. And when illness or injury occurs along the way, we are here for you. We will take the time to educate you each step of the way on what you can do to care for your child's unique needs, paying special attention to prevention and safety. We also stress making your child's visit as comfortable as possible in a warm and playful environment.
Adolescent Care
Our team of doctors and nurses also care for the full range of health issues affecting teens. In addition to physicals and treating illness, we provide education and counseling on safety, social pressures, school and home environment. At NorthReach, we also work with teens to explore positive choices, help them learn coping skills and teach them about making good decisions in their lives.
Behavior & Development
Each stage in your child's life brings new challenges and health concerns. At NorthReach, we have a strong focus on checking your child's development with each well visit. At each stage in your child's progress. This may mean checking for things such as your child's growth, speech, or that your child is sitting, crawling and walking when expected.
We also address behavioral issues as diverse as potty training, adjustment to school and ways to avoid or deal with substance abuse. We also provide screening for behavioral problems and will work with your family to develop an appropriate treatment plan. We can help you teach your child to set limits, develop proper behaviors and have more positive relations at home and school.
Treatment & Serious Conditions
Whether your child has asthma, needs in-hospital care, or has another serious condition or chronic disease, we are here for you. Our doctors are trained to detect, treat and manage most medical problems in children. If a child's illness is more serious or complex and requires advanced specialty care, we coordinate getting you to the best doctors and medical centers available. Caring for a serious condition can be very stressful and trying for parents. We strive to make sure you understand all the aspects of your child's condition, and we will work with you to set up the right treatment and care options. This includes how to manage your child's illness at home when appropriate.
Nutrition & Weight Management
Nutrition is very important for the growth of your child or teen. Nutrition and exercise are the keys to keeping a healthy lifestyle. We stress education on healthy options and will work with your child to manage weight, eating disorders or obesity. Overweight and obese children are at risk for more serious conditions later in life. Addressing these problems at an early age is very important for your child's health and sense of well-being.
